Making sure CIUMon is running at high priority

CIUMon runs at high priority by default. The only reason it would run at lower priority is if someone changed the priority deliberately, perhaps to reduce CIUMon's impact on computer performance. Since lowering the priority can slow down live data, you may wish to raise the priority again.

To check whether CIUMon is running at high priority

1. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC. Windows Task Manager will open.
2. Click the Processes tab.
3. Locate CIUMON.exe in the list of processes. Look at the Base Priority column for CIUMON.exe. It should be "High".

   Note: If there is no Base Priority column, then on the View menu, click Select Columns. Select the Base Priority check box and click OK.
